On May 17th and 18th Artists will be painting murals live on the street in front of 510 Main Street in Beacon NY. The pieces range from 8'x12' to 8'x8' At the end of the day on the 18th all of te pieces will be installed in the windows of the vacant factory building across from 510 Main Street. Both the creation of the art and the instalation will be an amazing site to see.

Having grown up in NYC and now living in Barcelona Ripo bases his life on the importance of surrounding himself with a diverse and creative environment. Constantly developing and working on a strongly graphic, typographic, and calligraphic style he relays messages to the public often on a large scale. There's usually a subtle but essential presence of dichotomy and contradiction in his work, as there is in all of our lives. His influences come from his extensive travels and the large tours he has realized across Europe and Latin America. He has exhibited (often illegally) his work in over 36 countries across Europe and the Americas. This April he just finished a tour of South and Central America, traveling and painting large murals in 11 countries from Brazil to Mexico over the course of a 5 and a half month period.
